D.I.Y Facial Detox Soap

Most of the Shower gels, cleansing bars, shampoo and toiletries used daily may contain harsh chemicals, eg: SLS, SLE and Detergent which are harmful to our skin. Prolong use of such detergents on a daily basis could result in skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis and dry skin .

If you are worried, consider making your own shower cleansing bar FREE of harsh chemicals and it helps you to draw out the toxic.

The soap we gonna do today which may helps to heal and regenerates skin tissue, draw out toxins, treat acne and prevent breakouts, shrink pores, and reduce the appearance of scars.  And by gently exfoliating, it evens out your skin tone and leaves the surface feeling soft and smooth!

Let’s start with your very own facial soap Today!!!

Ingredients/ Recipes:

Direction/ Steps:

You can choose  to do Single layer soap which will be totally black bar or you swirling soap

  1. Cut  Shea Butter Melt and Pour Soap Base  ( you can choose your favorite base) into small cubes and place them in microwave safe glass measuring cup. Or you can do double boiler method.
  2. Place the Honey Melt and Pour Soap Base  in the microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring in between each interval. (you will need at least 3 – 4 times) depending on how full your cup is of soap.  Just be sure the soap is completely melted.
  3. Or use double boiler (our soap base melting point is 50°C to 55°C, do not exceed 60°C), stirring between bursts, until the base has fully melted then move the bowl out .
  4. Next, add in the Bentonite Clay Powder (100% Pure)  then follow by Activated Charcoal Powder (100% Pure). Mix EXTREMELY well! If you’re having trouble getting all of the clumps to blend into the mixture you can always use an electric mixer for a few minutes. Don’t worry if there are a few small clumps left- they’ll provide extra exfoliation as you use the soap.
  5. Slowly add in your choice of essential oil ( Tea Tree Essential OilCedarwood and Lavender)  mix well, ( i  chose lavender and tea tree, good for my acne and scare)
  6. Last,  add 2 tablespoon of Sweet Almond Oil  to the entire soap base, this is also to help to moisturize your skin.
  7. Before pouring the soap into the mold, spray a thin layer of ethanol onto the mold then pour the soap base into the mold,

After pouring, you can give it a quick spray of ethanol and the bubbles disappear.  This ensures a nice smooth bottom to your soap and allow to harden before attempting to pop them out of the mold.
