The calming properties of lavender are renowned and used widely. To help alleviate tiredness, simply add around 5 drops of lavender oil to a hot foot bath and relax while your feet soak in it. You will soon be dozing away with the lingering aroma of lavender in the room.
Rub 2-3 drops of lavender oil in your cupped palms and inhale into your hands. Then, rub a drop of Lavender oil on your palms and smooth on your pillow to help you sleep. The scent will calm the mind and help achieve better quality sleep.
Eczema / Dermatitis
Most likely due to its antimicrobial and antioxidant characteristics, lavender essential mixed with coconut oil has profound benefits on your skin. Mix several drops of Lavender oil with a carrier oil (e.g. coconut, sweet almond etc) and use topically on eczema and dermatitis.
