White Beeswax (Cera Alba) are beeswax with pollen removed. Pollen causes the yellow color in beeswax and are naturally removed to produce a clean and white appearance while maintaining the natural beeswax smell. Our white color beeswax are naturally bleached by sunlight and air exposure with no chemicals used in this process. Our white beeswax pellets are incredibly easy to work with and allows measuring by milligram or gram. White beeswax are also widely used in the manufacturing of skin care and cosmetic commercial products and color formulation where white beeswax would be a better pastel as compared to yellow beeswax which could alter the ultimate color of the end product.

Beeswax is the oldest and purest wax in the world. At honey harvest time the honeycombs are carefully opened to allow for honey to drain from the comb. The bees seal the honey into the combs with wax capping placed over every cell filled with honey. This capping is removed at harvest and is used in the production of beeswax. It is perfect for cosmetic, food and hobby uses. With its high water-holding capacity, it is great for lotions, lip balms and skin care products. Beeswax soothes and softens the skin, protects it from dehydration and provides antibacterial properties. And since beeswax candles emit very little smoke, it is great for making candles too. However, do note that cosmetic grade beeswax can be used for beeswax candle making but candle grade beeswax cannot be used for cosmetic purpose.
