Sky Blue Mica Powder

This Orange Mica Powder can color cosmetics to vibrant depending on the recipe and application. Use this powder to color soaps, creams, bath fizzies, lip balms, or other cosmetics.

Recommended Use Level:

Using amount as desired, blend powder directly into the oil of the cosmetic recipe. Adding this color to a clear base will produce a rich sparkle while adding this color to white base will produce a pastel colored product with no sparkle. When making sparkle bath salts, apply a fine mist of rubbing alcohol to salts before adding powder and then allow to dry 2-6 hours before packaging. For cosmetics, eye and lip products add desired amount of mica.

Performance Results:

Color: Produces a luster shimmer in clear bases. Color will appear pastel and less vibrant in white melt and pour soap bases.

Product pH: Color will not change in products with a high pH.

Color Fading: Will not color fade in UV light.

Color Migration: If product design has layered colors, this color will not migrate or “bleed” between layers.
